Future Ukrainian ambassador: Hungary not taking part in the war? 400 people are fighting in the Ukrainian army

Sándor Fegyir has been waiting for months to become Ukraine's ambassador to Hungary because his nomination has not yet been signed by President Katalin Novák. Fegyir is a volunteer soldier from Transcarpathia, a lecturer at the National University of Uzhhorod, who has now given an interview to hvg360. If the propaganda is primitive, that means its audience is too. I myself am an example that Hungarians, like representatives of other nationalities in Ukraine, defend their families and their homeland.

We are very grateful to the Hungarian volunteers, and to all our friends in Hungary for their tremendous help. The Hungarian nation has its own historical mission, unchanged for 400 years: to be the shield of Europe, to defend the values of European civilisation against the aggressors from the East. Now we are doing the same in 2023."
