Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán doesn't like the new EU asylum deal, according to a recent Facebook post. He says Brussels is "abusing its power" and wants to turn Hungary into a country of immigrants by force.

Since 2015, the EU has struggled to agree on common rules for the distribution of refugees. Now, eight years later, it looks like member states have come to an agreement that everyone must either take in refugees or pay the equivalent of around € 20,000 per each person they refuse to host.

The Hungarian Prime Minister’s reaction shared with his followers in full reads:

“Brussels is abusing its power. They want to forcibly transfer migrants to Hungary. This is unacceptable! They want to turn Hungary into an immigrant country by force.”
