“Preparations for a new administration have entered the home stretch”
This is what András Kármán wrote in the caption accompanying a group photo he shared on his social media page on Wednesday morning. According to the post, the first session of the Tisza Party's broader executive committee was held on Tuesday, and the photo features the participants of that meeting.
Based on this, in addition to Péter Magyar, the Tisza Party’s broader leadership includes (from left to right):
- András Kármán, the Tisza Party’s expert on budgetary and tax policy,
- István Kapitány, the party’s expert on economic development and energy,
- Márk Radnai, the party’s vice president and a member of Parliament representing electoral district no. 2 of Komárom-Esztergom county in Esztergom,
- Zoltán Tanács, Tisza’s head of government program development and governance preparation, a Member of Parliament for electoral district no. 1 in Budapest
- Ágnes Forsthoffer, the party’s vice president and an MP for district no. 2 of Veszprém county, based in Balatonfüred
- Zoltán Tarr, the party’s vice president and the head of its European Parliament delegation
- Andrea Bujdosó, head of the party’s faction in the Budapest City Council and an MP elected in constituency no.3 of Pest county, in Pilisvörösvár
- Márton Melléthei-Barna, legal advisor to the Tisza Party and president of the “Be the Change” Association, which supports the party
- Anita Orbán, the Tisza Party’s foreign policy expert and the expected candidate for the post of Minister of Foreign Affairs
- György Velkey, Chief of Staff to Péter Magyar and Member of Parliament elected in electoral district no. 6 in Budapest
- Gábor Pósfai, the party’s Chief of Operations and MP elected in constituency no. 2 in Pest county
- Péter Tóth, the Tisza Party's campaign manager
- Zsolt Tárkányi, the Tisza Party's press secretary, and an MP elected in the Hajdú-Bihar constituency no. 1 in Debrecen.
According to the photo, some of the party’s better-known politicians – such as Ervin Nagy, Krisztina Bódis, Romulusz Ruszin-Szendi, or Zsolt Hegedűs, who is expected to take the health portfolio – are not part of the party's leadership.
