The Hungarian administration recently revealed geographic data on immunity cards sent out to the public. As immunity cards can be acquired not only by inoculation but also by gaining natural immunity, these numbers do not say much about vaccination rates; however, we visited Ipolytölgyes and Csenyéte, two small towns where the highest and the lowest portion of the population received immunity cards, to see how attitudes about the pandemic and vaccination differ at the two ends of the spectrum.
