The Commander of the Hungarian Defense Forces, Romulusz Ruszin-Szendi has visited Ukraine – the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces announced on their Facebook page.

“I greatly appreciate the professional and friendly relations with my Hungarian counterpart, and I am satisfied with the level of military cooperation between our two states”

-Valerii Zaluzhny, Commander of the Ukrainian Armed Forces said.

According to the post, the Hungarian delegation was well-informed about the current situation in the war in Ukraine, the number of the Russian forces, the military tactics and goals of the invading troops, as well as their losses, and “the enemy’s war crimes and crimes against humanity”.

The delegation visited several locations where the Ukrainians claim that Russian troops have committed war crimes, including Irpin and Borodyanka. They also went to Mykolaiv, Odessa and Kharkiv, and stopped at Kyiv’s Museum of National History, where several destroyed Russian military vehicles and other pieces of equipment are on display.

As there was no official information about this from the Hungarian side, Telex sent a question to the Hungarian Defense Forces, and we received a link to the official statement in response.
